Perfect Pre-Run Breakfast Bowl

This smoothie bowl provides the perfect pre-run meal. A long run requires easily digestible carbohydrates to fuel performance. Add extra toppings for extra carbs if required or remove toppings for when medium carb fuel is required.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of frozen berries

  • 150ml of skim milk

  • 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein

  • 1 sliced banana

  • 1 cup of fresh berries

  • Granola or muesli

  • Honey


Method

  1. Blend 1 cup of frozen berries, 150ml of skim milk and one scoop of vanilla whey protein.

  2. Pour blended ingredients into bowl, jar or container.

  3. Top bowl with a sliced banana, fresh berries, granola and drizzle honey.

  4. Enjoy!
